Karavados is located southwest of Kefalonia, approximately 10km/7miles south of the capital, Argostoli.
Karavados village itself is built in a beautiful location about 500m inland and in the greater area one will find numerous stunning beaches.

The village of Karavados is a ten minute drive from the airport and has a few local tavernas and a mini market (500m walking distance).
The 1km long beach of Lourdas with the ever changing turquoise blue clear water and its fine silver sand is only a 5 minute drive away. Part of the beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas available for hire.
There are some beachside tavernas too for you to enjoy your Greek "mezedakia" and ouzo after your swim. The nearby village of Lourdata is also made up of good restaurants, car/bike rental offices and a couple of cozy bars where you can have your drinks under the moonlight.
The popular golden sand beaches of Makrys and Platys Gialos near the resort of Lassi are only a fifteen minutes drive away.
